In addition to the home of Europe's most beautiful baseball stadium, the city also offers important sporting events: the Regensburg Marathon, the Arber Bike Marathon, triathlon, athletics gala, everyone's decathlon, various running, walking and swimming events and various championships at district and Bavarian level up to the baseball world championship.


Outdoor experiences: from the center of the old city to the most beautiful corners of the Regensburg district. You can experience more than 100 cycling and hiking tours on the Winzerer Höhen or along the Danube.


Regensburg to eat: a bratwurst in the oldest sausage kitchen in the world, at the Historischen Wurtskuchl (since 1146), a bread roll at one of the Regensburg Christmas markets, a cake in the oldest café in Germany, Café Princess (since 1686) or a meal in a bar, Pub, café, beer garden or restaurant in town.


A city for young people and family: Jahninsel, located in front of the old city, is the summer meeting place for friends and families. Picnics, barbecues or just fun can be found on Jahninsel and in the other city parks.


Experience fairy tales: right in the center of the city is the princely St. Emmeram Castle, with its numerous events such as the princely Christmas market, the garden days or the Thurn und Taxis Castle Festival.
